Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

  • Is this a landmark?  Who was the architect?
  • Will the stone/brick be cleaned?
  • Will there be uplighting? Have you considered broader floods? Can the corners be lit?
  • Is there opportunity to integrate a complementary monument sign into the knee/low wall?
  • Any opportunity to provide seating?
  • The monument sign at STMDP High School is a great example of integrated signage in a similar context that acts as both street furniture and signage.

Marcia Nolan of St. Clair-Superior Dev Corp is present and available for comment.  Marcia stated her support of the project.

Motion to approve as presented by all voting members present.  Study a broader flood light and how best a monument sign can be integrated.
